Wood Recycling
Countrystyle works in close partnership with local authorities and commercial operations, collecting waste from CA sites and providing onwards treatment for wood reclamation operation and composting. The recycling of timber has become quite a common practice within the UK recycling industry with specialist outlets countrywide, however sustainable wood recyclers have been inconspicuous by their absence in the South East. Countrystyle are one of only a very small number of waste disposal and recycling contractors in the region who actually carry out in house wood recycling. The waste material which is collected by our own fleet can also be delivered in by outside hauliers and comes from Civic Amenity sites, construction/demolition sites, recycling centres and commercial premises. The material is processed using high capacity shredding and screening equipment and taken onward for the remanufacture of chipboard and for power generation. |
