A recent venture into mobile compaction has seen Countrystyle purchase a Scania P380 8x4 Refuse Collection Vehicle. This truck is fully versatile and can cope with wheeled bins of all sizes, as well as REL (Rear End Loading) skips. The vehicle itself is of a high specification coming with an automated manual gearbox for maximum capacity and operating efficiency, the ability to be able to weigh all containers being loaded into the body and the usual driver refinements such as cd player and air conditioning. 

The bodywork is from Heil and is their 'Bigbite' model, this is heavy duty to allow for the REL containers to be tipped into it and also has the very latest comb lift for wheeled bins. Accompanied by an on board weighing system, this enables us to accurately weigh the contents of all REL containers and wheeled bins via data chips secured to their receptacles.The system weighs the contents of each container and records its findings against the information obtained from the chip. Countrystyle's automated invoicing system then raises an Invoice from the information processed through the dustcart's systems.

The Countrystyle RCV fleet also has a Mercedes Econic 6x2 refuse collection vehicle with a Faun mobile compaction body. This vehicle has a detachable OTTO trade lift allowing for both wheeled bin, loose bag and freighter service collection capabilities. Although not equipped with the weighing system found on the newer vehicle, any future purchases will have this system in place.
