About Us

Welcome to Countrystyle Group Ltd, two companies established in the business of waste management and ‘Resource Recovery’, recycling inert and organic waste materials to produce reusable end products. These operations are co-ordinated from our sites at Ridham Dock Road near Sittingbourne and our newly acquired site at Knight Road in Strood, whilst the headquarters remains at Pluckley near Ashford.

Countrystyle Composting Ltd was incorporated in 1993 and was formed primarily to operate a composting service for a local mainstream tomato producer to recycle their tomato haulm. The demand for our services developed rapidly and we soon found ourselves recycling green waste for the local County Council, providing waste disposal services for customers with general waste needs and eventually becoming a full waste disposal and recycling provider.

Expanding Activities

In 2004 Countrystyle Composting purchased a large plant hire company in Sittingbourne, Kent, not only as a natural extension of our expanding activities but also for the land on which their premises stood with a view to set up a full ‘in vessel’ composting system and a Materials Recycling Facility (MRF). The advent of this acquisition saw the incorporation of Countrystyle Recycling Ltd, a sister company to run in partnership with Countrystyle Composting Ltd offering further services to our wide and varied customer base.

Through our technically competent staff and the further sourcing of specific geotechnical information, Countrystyle prides itself on its ability to offer advice based on the very latest legislation and working practices.

Our in-depth knowledge of industrial developments and legislation allows Countrystyle to devise and manage the most effective and economic formula for each of our clients and in effect the company acts as an extension to the client’s own operations, applying a duty of care policy which offers quality assurance in all areas of services, from start to finish.
