Countrystyle is a rapidly expanding Company, providing a wide range of integrated waste management services to both the public and private sectors.

We are seeking to appoint a SHEQ compliance co-ordinator. The role will be responsible for maintaining our existing management SHEQ systems and implementing additional processes that may be required, with a particular focus on quality and environmental standards and procedures within a framework of current safety legislation, codes of practice and ISO standards.

The responsibilities shall include meeting our internal SHEQ audit program in line with the framework of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.  Working alongside the Managers and operational teams at various sites, you will provide a range of supporting functions in relation to the development/implementation and review of the SHEQ policies/procedures to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience with ISO management systems. We are looking for a self motivated enthusiastic individual with good communication skills, who would like to work in a hands-on capacity within a team based structure. A strong background in Quality and Environmental Management is essential. Experience with Health and Safety would be advantageous. We will consider applicants wishing to work part time. Experienced HGV fitter required to join our Strood Depot. Applicants must be familiar with working with municipal waste vehicles with a minimum of 5 years experience. An LGV Class 2 licence is essential.

The position is full-time - 5 days per week and Saturday mornings. Immediate start.
